Hey, I got an idea...

It's FINALLY HERE!!!! Ismail and I are so excited to be able to finally share what we have been working so hard on over the last few months. We really wanted to create a free resource where photo booth owners and operators could really get some useful information no matter how long they have been in business. 

We noticed that a few people have done a photo booth business podcast in the past, however nothing was currently being offered. 

I have been in the events industry for about 14 years, and I certainly have learned a thing or two from just simple trial and error. Photo booths were just barely getting started and I remember when I went to go online to look for help NOTHING EXISTED! There was no formula, no how-to guide, and certainly nobody telling me the problems that come along with it. It was all an amazing journey and it's still continuing. 

Ismail and I met this past year and Photo Booth Expo, and I couldn't have been more grateful. I told him that I have always kept to myself (we explore more of this on the podcast). He very much has helped me realize that so many in the industry could very much benefit from my sales, marketing, and operating experiences. 

Ismail is naturally inquisitive and we kept in contact and have really benefitted from each other's knowledge. There really are only a handful people in this world that I bounce ideas off of incredibly well and Ismail is one of them.

I was driving to a photo shoot at 8:30 a.m. (I am not a morning person by any means necessary, so the fact that I was actually functioning was beyond me.) I got a text message from Ismail that said, "Hey, I got an idea...we should do a podcast of our conversations." 

My reply was simply, "OK."

By 9 p.m., there was a domain name, website, logo, hero image, all social media accounts, blog, merchandise, and podcast outline for the first 5 episodes. We were rocking and rolling. 

I think Ismail had to have been in shock, the fact that I was incredibly serious about this. I am very grateful to him that I am able to share my experiences with you. My personal goal for this is that everyone will improve on their sales revenue, improve their customer service, learn to balance the work and home life, as well as start working smarter and not harder. We live in an age where technology can work miracles for us. Don't believe me...check out Zapier.

I have always been incredibly good at sales, and not really known that I was good at it. The beauty of our industry is that we have the unique advantage that 90% of our bookings can be completed entirely by email and without meeting or even speaking to the client. I will be able to share all of my secrets in the coming weeks and how to capture more business with just a few simple emails. No seriously...it's that easy. (*and it's all done with triggers and auto-responders)
